Description of Event

15th Annual Wine & Chocolate Social and Art Auction
Sunday, February 14, 2010
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Alpine Artisans will return to Lindey’s Prime Steakhouse to showcase original art from the Seeley-Swan and Blackfoot valleys and enjoy the uniquely tasty blend of fine chocolates and wine. Once again, Addrien Marx will serve as master of ceremonies again.

Members of Alpine Artisans are submitting original artwork which will be sold by live and silent auction during the afternoon.

First Valley Bank is hosting a display of the artwork during the first two weeks of February. Julia Becker, associate professor of art at the University of Great Falls, will serve as juror. It will be her job to select 15 pieces for the live auction. Fred Burow will be our auctioneer. He has been the auctioneer for the Crown of the Continent Celebrations and everyone agrees it will be a fun afternoon with him leading the auction!

This year’s raffle features some outstanding donations from Seeley-Swan businesses. 100% of the raffle money will go directly to the AAI Scholarship fund.

Of course, the signature features of the The Wine and Chocolate Social are the wonderful chocolates and the glass of wine to complement them, the opportunity to pass a winter’s afternoon in the company of friends and neighbors, and the chance to support the growth art in the Seeley Swan Valleys. Don’t miss it!!
