This gracious house is a century old mansion one block from downtown Cranbrook and is included in the self-guided heritage tour. Many early homes were built in the 'Baker Hill' area between 1898 and the First World War in 1914. The Baker Hill area is now a designated Residential Heritage Area and this property received a Residential Heritage Award in 1998. This multi-sided building now operates as a Bed & Breakfast establishment. A large addition has been constructed; the original smaller building exists to the right side.
The Baker Hill Heritage Bed & Breakfast offers a friendly, casual style. It features 3 units; each are quiet spacious rooms with all the comforts of home. Wonderful breakfasts are served and the mountain top views are breathtaking. Room service is available. Pets allowed in outdoor designated area.
