Description of Group or Organizational Experience

Springtime in Glacier is an explosion of life, with buds bursting, waterfalls gushing, and avalanches rumbling down the slopes. Enjoy this spring fervor while riding leisurely along the Going to the Sun Road (about six miles round trip along a very gradual slope), stopping often to scope avalanche chutes for bears and other wildlife.

Meet us at the Avalanche Lake Trail head with your bike, helmet, and binoculars. Most years the road is closed beyond this point, creating a peaceful cyclist’s paradise. The course will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 5:00 p.m.
