The first annual Columbia Basin Culture Tour is a self-guided tour showcasing local arts, culture and heritage. Offered at no charge to the general public, it is an opportunity to meet the artists, shop for fine art and craft, view demonstrations, special exhibitions and interpretive displays, and chat with local historians.
From the vibrant paintings of Paula Craven's, Crazy Ravens Studio in Canal Flats, to historical demonstrations of blacksmithing at Fort Steele Heritage Town, to the remarkable pottery and paintings at the Painted Turtle Gallery in Creston, there is something for everyone on this tour.
The Columbia Basin Culture Tour is a day-long celebration of culture on Saturday, August 15 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Art
Explore an abundance of cultural riches as you visit studios that are not normally open, wander through a museum or art gallery that you have not been to in a while, see new exhibitions and collections, browse or shop for art and meet the local artists, curators and historians in attendance at the participating venues. Self directed and free of charge, you can make a day of it or just make a few stops. Why not follow your map and find a new place to stop for coffee or lunch?
You can begin your tour at any cultural venue along the route.
