I am a local Bigfork Guy. Visitors to the area often ask me where to go and what to do in the Flathead Valley. I make sure they are going to Glacier Park on a hike and then I let them know that it is mandatory that they have breakfast at the Echo Lake Café.

The coffee is organic, the orange juice is fresh squeezed and the produce is locally organically grown. The owners even raze the beef on their property down the street.

I think that I have had everything on the menu over the last 10 years, but my favorite is the Echo Lake Crêpes. I could eat that every day for the rest of my life if I had the money.

They have a new website www.echolakecafe.com that has photos of the food and restaurant. It even has unedited comments from the customers.

If you have one thing to do in Montana… Go to Glacier Park, but if you can squeeze in two things… Go to Echo Lake Café as well.
