No dilemma in Eureka, the Farmer's Market promises an omnivore’s delight.
From farm-grown greens to baked goods to Amish ice cream, this market will leave your mouth watering. Stroll through bedding plants, as well as local arts and crafts, alongside a vast array of wares on the south end of Main Street at Riverside Park every Wednesday from 5:30 – 7:30pm, starting May 27, 2009.
"We're making some drastic changes," farm organizer Randy McIntyre says of this year’s market. The weekly event used to be in parking lot at edge of town and held on Saturday mornings. Now the market has moved to grassy Riverside Park, on Wednesday evenings.
McIntyre chose Wednesday because Whitefish has a market on Tuesday and Libby on Thursday, so he’s hoping to create a circuit. In addition, a flea market will be held at other side of Riverside Park.
What to expect: Local Amish ice cream and baked goods, farm-grown greens and produce, and on occasion, live entertainment
