Short Introduction to Trail

Take a walk on the wild side of Eureka, Montana. If you're driving through town, this convenient trail with a downtown trailhead is a good reason to stop and stay for awhile.

The Riverwalk Trail is open to walkers, bicyclists and wheelchairs only. It includes a bridge across Sinclair Creek and nature and historical interpretive sites. Benches, and restrooms available.

Highlights and Best Features of this Trail

Flowing next to the trail system is the Tobacco River flowing, ideal for wildlife & bird watching. Interpretive signs explain natural and historical values along the river.

Full Description of this Recreation Trail

The Riverwalk Trail is great for walking, jogging, bicycling, and wheelchairs. The paved trail meaders along the beautiful Tobacco River under a canopy provided by the large trees. There is always a chance of seeing wildlife ranging from fox to moose. It is a favorite spot for local bird watchers. TIf a break is what you need, stroll out to one of the benches along the walk and enjoy the peace and quiet.
