Description of Professional Guided Experience

Located in Montana’s majestic Rocky Mountain Front south of Glacier National Park, the JJJ Wilderness Ranch specializes in outdoor vacations with an emphasis on horseback riding, trout fishing and hiking.

At the Ranch, a quality horseback riding program allows for unlimited riding opportunities. Fantastic children’s program. Out of the saddle, fly-fish at the Ranch’s spring fed trout ponds, the Sun River or Gibson Lake. This unspoiled location allows for spectacular hiking with wildlife watching or simple mountain climbing. Evening interpretive boat tours on Gibson Lake, cookouts, and campfires with cowboy poetry, wild “tale” telling, and singing are highlights. Delicious meals and cozy, modern log cabin accommodations. Escape to a simpler way of life.

For those who enjoy “roughing it”, there’s high adventure on horse pack-trips into the heart of the remote Bob Marshall Wilderness. The only travel here is by foot or by horse. Fully-outfitted, these trips into this magnificent, pristine country reveal awesome beauty of rugged landscape, pristine lakes and streams, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats and black bear. You’ll experience the challenge of adventure, the fellowship of guests and crew, and appreciation of the horse. Big game hunting trips also provided from September through November.
