The Kimberley Summer Theatre Society was founded in 1998 and produces musical, lighthearted theatre for all ages. Shows are presented during July and August at Kimberley Arts at Centre 64. Kimberley Summer Theatre’s 2008 stage show production is based on the 'Jeeves' stories by P.G. Wodehouse, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and book and lyrics by Alan Ayckbourn. It proves to be a hilarious, rousing musical tale.
In addition, a Vaudeville Show, is performed at the outdoor Platzl stage. This show is a free, high-energy variety show that consists of comic songs from the Vaudeville and British Music Hall era of the late 19th, early 20th century. Short comic sketches are interspersed between songs.
Tickets are $14 children; $20 adults for shows at Centre 64; Vaudeville Show in the Platzl is free.
