Highlights and Best Features of this Trail

Founded as French Camp in 1901, Lille boomed into a coal mining town of more than 400 people by 1907, and faded to a ghost town in 1913.when the market for poor quality coal collapsed. Mine assets and equipment and houses were moved to Bellevue and Blairmore. Coke ovens and building foundations remain.
