Excellent food, great, friendly service, and an atmosphere that is charming and unique. Definitely worth stopping when you're in Seeley Lake!

I live in Missoula and have been meaning to get to Littlebird's Schoolhouse for dinner and finally made it last weekend and I must say it is definitely worth the wait! The setting is charming, the food delicious and fresh and the staff friendly and welcoming. I am admittedly fairly unforgiving when it comes to a bad meal at a restaurant but I cannot find a single fault in my experience at Littlebird's and am already making plans to go back again. Treat yourself to a delightful night and make plans to go to Littlebird's - you won't be sorry.......

Brief Description of Establishment

Littlebird’s Schoolhouse Café serves up a health-minded menu—and indigenous art—within log walls axed and adzed just a century ago.

Owner-cook Vicki Voegelin serves up hearty breakfasts and healthy deli-style lunches, often nourished with herbs, greens and vegetables from her garden beds behind this old schoolhouse. The building, moved to Seeley Lake from north of town in 1996 and operated as an art gallery before Voegelin bought and expanded the business a few years ago. The gallery features local artists.

Food writer Greg Patent penned a profile of Voeglin and Littlebird's Cafe in the Missoulian newspaper in 2007. You can read more at:
