Lussier Hot Springs 
Contribute your own comments and rating From steamy hot to merely tepid, find your comfort level among the cascade of primitive rock pools alongside the bubbling Lussier River, just inside Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park. Test the waters therapeutic benefits, long known to the Ktunaxa people and said to increase with dips in the adjacent, frigid river.
Access is from Highway 93/95. Turn east 4.5 kilometres (3 miles) south of Canal Flats (watch for Provincial Park highway signage to Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park) onto the gravel Whiteswan Forestry Road for 25 km (15 mi). The Lussier Hot Springs are located near the west boundary of the park at Kilometre 17.5.
Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park is a great recreational area with two lakes, a natural hot springs and a scenic mountain backdrop. Alces and Whiteswan Lakes offer one of the highest quality rainbow trout fisheries in the area and Lussier Hot Springs is a world-renowned undeveloped springs. The series of pools, of varying sizes among the boulders, are easily accessed down a gradual slope from the road. The water temperature averages 44°C (111°F) in the summer. A change room/toilet is located at the parking lot. Four lakeside campgrounds, boat launches, a historic lakeside hiking trail and abundant wildlife viewing opportunities are offered – visitors may watch for feeding moose at Alces Lake.
Whiteswan Lake was an important seasonal hunting camp of the Ktunaxa native people and their use of the area dates back at least 5,000 years. During the 1800s and early 1900s trappers, prospectors and guides worked in the area and soothed their work worn bodies in the hot mineral waters of Lussier Hot Springs.

A trip to the hot springs was recommended by an ER doc after my husband was treated for a biking accident. Other than the road conditions being a bit dicey the last few kilometers, it was a great place to go. We packed a lunch and headed there from Radium Hot Springs. It was an awesome day trip.
