Lakeside Swiss-inspired lodging makes this 1914 hotel a convenient base for hiking Glacier's largest concentration of trails. Many Glacier Hotel is situated on the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake and rests at the base of Mt. Grinnell where five mountain valleys intersect. The 214 rustic yet comfortable rooms have double beds and/or twin beds with private baths. Rates are based on view or room size.

The hotel has five floors accessed by stairs. Suites facing Swiftcurrent Lake are located on floors one, two, and three. It is the largest hotel within Glacier Park and is operated by the National Park concessioner, Glacier Park Inc.

The hotel was declared a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner are served in the Ptarmigan Dining Room. The Swiss Room Lounge has a full-service bar. Evening entertainment by noted Montana artists is regularly scheduled.

The Hotel offers a fine dining restaurant, lounge, gift shop, and snack store. Red bus tours, horseback rides, guided naturalist-led hikes, and boat cruises are also available at Many Glacier.
