Description of Wilderness Area or Park

The Marysville Waterfalls Trail is a short 10 minute walk along a wide boardwalk. The wooden walkway follows Mark Creek through the forest to the 30 metre (100 ft) waterfall displaying nature's magnificence and beauty. Green moss clings to the side of the gorge and a forthy white mist rises up from the cascade. The Eco Park, a great place for a picnic, features a sculpture of a westslope cutthroat trout, celebrating the return of this native species to Mark Creek following an extensive watershed restoration project.

Marysville is a suburb of Kimberley, located just 10 minutes south of the downtown Platzl. Stroll the forested paths of the Lions & Rotary Trail along Mark Creek, leading from Kimberley to Marysville. From main street Marysville, a boardwalk leads to the Marysville Falls.
