Summer equipment available for rent includes recreational, touring, and expedition level sea-kayaks, inflatable kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, canoes and mountain bikes. The rentals include safety equipment and wetsuits, if weather necessitates. Rentals are available for one-day or multi-day trips, however it is important to keep in mind that all gear is available on a first come, first serve basis. You can also call ahead to make a reservation for a specific date.
Better yet, just stop in at the Polebridge Mercantile or North Fork Hostel and ask for the guys at North Fork Recreational Rentals. They are not hard to find.

I've found paddling on the northern lakes of Glacier Park to be one or the most relaxing and great natural experiences I've ever had while on vacation. It's a must do in my book and a great way to get away from the crowds of goober tourists you can find busy summer months.
