Slurp a shake through a straw, or race melting ice cream around the lip of a crisp waffle cone, at the Old Dairy ice cream shop.
A former milk and cheese plant , the Old Dairy is now a seasonal ice cream emporium located on the main street of Bellevue, a former coal mining community now incorporated into the municipality of Crowsnest Pass.
Old Dairy milkmaids dish up cups, cones, and shakes conventionally flavoured with vanilla or chocolate, or tasting more daringly of espresso or mango. Multi-scoopers are advised to specify the Old Dairy's thick, brown, waffle cones for strength and sog-resistance.
