Got a hankerin' for a little rhymin', reminiscin' and grinnin'? The Annual Gathering of Cowboy Poetry at Pincher Creek is a great western tradition that is jam packed with poems, songs, stories and tales past and present, of the real cowboy life. The four-day event brings together poets, musicians, artists and crafters in a down-home setting that will bring the cowboy out in everyone. Cowboy poetry - poetry straight from the heart - is the centrepiece of the event. The Alberta beef "best in the west" barbeques are not to be missed. Sit in the grandstand and watch experts train a green horse. Catch a ride on the horse-drawn wagons for a tour around the grounds. The Annual Gathering of Cowboy Poetry at Pincher Creek is an event that you will be putting on your calendar every year!
