The 4th annual Bear Fair will be held on Saturday, August 6th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hungry Bear Steak House outside of Condon, Montana, in the Swan Valley.
The event will feature presentations by Tim Manley, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Region 1 Grizzly Bear Management Specialist, and Kate Kendall, U.S. Geological Service Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center Research Biologist, as well as a bear pepper spray demonstration. Additional specialists in grizzly bear research, wildlife information, and habitat conservation and management will also available to answer questions.
“Nowhere else can you find this many bear biologists and resource professionals in one place,“ says Swan Valley Bear Ranger Mark Ruby. “The Bear Fair is a fun and fantastic event for all ages.”
Free bratwurst and refreshments will be served from noon to 1:30 p.m. RSVPs are requested at 754-3137 to reserve your brat. Games and activities for children of all ages. Bake sale and raffle proceeds will support Swan Valley Bear Resources. Shuttle service will be provided from Swan Valley School to the Hungry Bear Steak House.
