The Studio & Stage Door Theatre was formerly a Masonic Temple built in 1909. It's a classic Cranbrook downtown landmark. It is noted for its exterior classical porch and huge wooden columns. The multi-use heritage facility is used by local art groups for productions of theatre, music and dance. The interior includes a large dance studio, and an upper floor drama studio seating 90 people. The 'Locals' Musical Concert present five impressive shows throughout the year. The Theatre is a designated heritage building and was awarded the Commercial Heritage Award in 1982.
