Early 1900's
Pioneer buildings were moved to save them from drowning when Libby Dam created Lake Koocanusa in the 1970s. Browse Fewkes General Store for historical artifacts. And if you buy a locally made quilt you’ll be helping provide funds for village upkeep.
View the history of the Tobacco Valley and stroll through late 1890s and early 1900s buildings. The Historical Village is a collection of buildings from around the Tobacco Valley in North Lincoln County, MT.

You can also view the first cabin built in Eureka (1893 ), the Baney House built in 1898 at a ranch just North of Eureka, the Rexford Catholic Church built in 1920's. See a 100-foot-tall fire lookout, walk through an old Great Northern caboose, and check out the Logging Museum in the Old Rexford Depot. Have a picnic on one of the many picnic tables in the beautiful park adjacent to the Historical Village.
Visit the Chamber of Commerce in the Historical Village, and stroll the Eureka downtown area. Several day, half-day, and hour loop tours will introduce you to other small towns in the Tobacco Valley, and into the mountains surrounding the Tobacco Valley.
