Our West Castle Wetland Ecological Reserve needs your help to control the weeds that are appearing in this sensitive place. So, put on your work gloves and join a fun crew of volunteers on July 28, 2009 for our second annual Weed Pull in the West Castle Wetland Ecological Reserve.
Last year we had volunteers from non-profit, community, private, municipal, provincial and federal groups! It was a great day to get a lot of work done and meet so many different people!
This is one of several volunteer opportunities offered by the Castle-Crown Wilderness Coalition this summer within the Castle.

It's a great place - 400 sq miles of public land that extends the mostly wild lands and clean watersheds to the north of Waterton-Glacier. Unfortunately, there are weeds. You can help by coming on a hike and observing and reporting, or better yet also join a weed crew for a day.
